about

So just how desperate would you have to be to risk your life getting in a small boat, hoping to reach a far off shore? It’s a dark topic but one often in my head. The haunting flute is by my Hamburg based friend Mark Norton and the guitar is from Days Between Stations’ Sepand Samzadeh.

lyrics

Floating, it is dark, great ships all around
Floating, they’re in fear, they may all be drowned
Running, from the fire, don’t fall to the ground
Running, there’s no time, all burned to the ground

Just how much fear, just how much fear
Would it take
Just how much fear, just how much fear
Does it take

Hiding, he is here, how have I been found?
Eyes wide, he is close, never make a sound
Crying, in the dark, blackness in the mind
Trembling, in my skin, running out of time

Just how much fear, just how much fear
Would it take
Just how much fear, just how much fear
Does it take
